Rukaiya Salman | Co-Founder of CSTEC/ Head of Cedar School System

Rukaiya Salman is currently spearheading the Cedar School as the Head of Cedar School System. She graduated from Lahore University of Management Sciences in 2006, after which she became a certified Chartered Financial Analyst. She has also completed the Post Graduate Certificate of Education International (PGCEi) from the University of Nottingham in 2015. Her passion for the education sector is evident as she has worked in the sector for over 14 years in different teaching and leadership roles. Besides attending Cambridge Schools Conference as a delegate in 2018 and 2019, she has also conducted multiple workshops with educational professionals from numerous renowned educational institutions. Rukaiya is a staunch proponent of EdTech and currently working with educators from the USA and UK to introduce innovative e-learning tools in Pakistan. She has recently met all of the criteria to be accredited as a Cambridge Programme Leader for the Cambridge International Certificate in Education Leadership.

Humayun Ansari | Co-Founder of CSTEC/ Learning & Development Manager

Humayun Ansari holds an MPhil in Education Leadership and Management (2021) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics (2014) from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Humayun has worked with renowned civil society organizations in education-related projects and private educational institutions, including UNICEF, USAID, The Citizens Foundations, LUMS Learning Institute, Society for International Education, American Consulate, and Cedar College, where he held leadership positions. He has also worked closely with the Punjab Examination Commission as a researcher to design a performance-based assessment framework for government and low-cost private schools. Due to his involvement in initiatives geared towards increasing access to education, he has been selected to represent Pakistan in Youth Leadership Summit (Colorado), Youth Exchange and Study Program (USA), Education without Borders (Dubai), and Rhodes Youth Forum (Greece). 

Saadia Saleem | Marketing Lead CSTEC / Communication Manager

Saadia Saleem has more than 7 years of experience in the education industry as a marketing and communications expert. In that time she has created, set up and curated digital media profiles for educational institutions and affiliated brands. She has completed her Bachelors from the Institute of Business Administration and has a firm interest in digital marketing which she has cultivated by completing certifications from Google Academy, Facebook and the University of Virginia. Saadia has also worked with technology and software companies such as Createch and Intwish on projects that included e-commerce solutions, app development and gamification for organizations including Ginsoy, HBL and Bank Alfalah. Since 2013, Saadia has initiated and continues to work on many entrepreneurial ventures that include clothing, premium stationary, and digital media solutions. In addition to her avid interest in digital marketing, Saadia is also passionate about English Literature and has recently started teaching the subject. She plans to continue exploring her passion by sharing it with young students and incorporating new methodologies to make the subject more immersive.

Neha Faisal | Design Lead CSTEC / Communication & Design Associate

Neha Faisal has pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Design from Habib University in 2020. Neha is passionate about graphic designing and has worked with multiple organizations where she availed the opportunity to hone her creativity and designing skills. She has worked at IOT company as the Brand Strategy and Marketing Executive. Neha is also a freelance graphic designer, and her work is also published in Dawn.com. Apart from graphic designing, Neha also enjoys volunteering. She has also volunteered for various civil society organizations and projects, including Al-Mehrab Tibbi Imdad, Taleem Sab ke liye, a non-profit organization to provide education to children and adults, and Women Of the World, a festival organized by the British council and the WOW Foundation in 2019.
